Where do I start with this couple?? They were such a joy to photograph and kept me laughing. They have one of those love stories that makes your heart melt. They have known of each other their entire lives, but it wasn’t until recently that they caught each others eye…and the rest is history!

This session ended up being in 2 parts…mister sunshine escaped us the first night so we did a bright and early session the day after. We shot at both the Battery and later at Hampton Park. Both provided wonderful backdrops for this lovely couple 🙂

Can’t wait for their big wedding next May!

This engagement shoot was a complete and utter blast. Amanda and Matt are getting married next summer in Charleston, so I was excited to hear that they wanted to go ahead and do their engagement session this fall! I love being able to spend time with my couples prior to the wedding day, it definitely makes the wedding day so much more relaxed.

Amanda and Matt are precious. I think that goes without saying though. The entire shoot they were saying “I love you” to each other. Without me even saying anything, they would both have this demeanor of love written all over their faces. We also were beasts walking around downtown Charleston. We had to combat off at least 10 other photographers doing engagement sessions, but in my opinion, we stole all the beautiful spots 😉

This couple is near and dear to my heart. They’re practically family. I’ve known Lindsay and Ethan for about 3 years, just as long as I’ve been dating Lindsay’s younger brother Jordan. From family vacations to random outings, I’ve grown to admire their personalities and love for each other. They have 2 beautiful daughters, Charleigh and Abigail, who I love dearly.

Their wedding was a total DIY affair. Myself along with the rest of the family was out there the day before and the day of setting up tents, arranging flowers and centerpieces, and prepping the yard. Because their wedding was held on family land, we had the luxury of setting up in advance. Huge shout out to Michelle, Lindsay’s stepmother, for hand-making so many of the beautiful details in this wedding. She even made Lindsay’s belt for her dress and all of the hairpieces.

So much love in just one day. Love this family, love this couple. Congratulations Lindsay and Ethan! Wishing you many years of happiness!
