I must confess that I looooooove this couple. Oddly enough, I’ve known the bride since I was little from my childhood church. I hadn’t seen her in 10 years or so, but it was such a wonderful reunion to see her and her family.
Where do I even begin? From their decor to the food to the DIY touches and their apparel, I absolutely loved every bit of this wedding. Both the bride and groom are photographers as well as actors, so they were a dream to shoot. When I told them to “get silly” they had a new goofy face for each photograph, some I had never even seen before haha.
The bride, Lauren, had a hand in everything. You’ll see in the pictures, but she thought of the most creative ways to add personal touches to EVERYTHING. And I mean everything. The handmade bouquets, the groomsmen’s pocket watches and gear cufflinks, the mis-matched but totally wonderful bridesmaids dresses and shoes, the “pick a glass” favor. One of my favorite things was the grooms ring, it was ROSE GOLD…which is my favorite.
Their focus on God and family throughout the evening was awesome.
I can’t wait to see where their future takes them. Their unfailing and contagious love will provide them with an everlasting and happy marriage.
Last month I had the privilege of photographing Corey and Jacob’s wedding at Magnolia Plantation. After getting lost during the first hour trying to find the bamboo forest, it went off without a hitch!
I absolutely loved getting to know their wonderful families. Their love for each other is undeniable and I felt so welcomed.
Their sense of humor and their constant giggling made me full of joy as I captured their big day.
