THAT DRESS. Give me fluff and I’m a happy woman. Envision the little girl from “Despicable Me” screaming “ITS SO FLUFFY IMMA DIE”. That was me on this particular day.
Lauren plus that dress made for an awesome afternoon of joyous shooting at Lowndes Grove. As we transitioned from room to room, pretending like we lived in this gorgeous place, we captured some awesome moments together. And I must say, Lauren totally nailed that sexy face by the end of the shoot. GURL PLEASE.
P.S. Can you tell that I’m sleep deprived and sitting in the airport?
^^^Big shoutout to my favorite wedding planner to ever exist. He’s the bees knees. Thank you to Justin of Charming Events for taming the dress fluff throughout this shoot and throughout Lauren’s wedding. YOUDA BEST.
THIS COUPLE IS MY JAM.
I first met Sassha and Nick at Starbucks. And by met, I mean we talked for ten minutes and were immediate best friends. I was seriously counting down the days until their engagement shoot because I genuinely wanted to spend time with them.
The shoot started out with laughter, and ended with such a special moment shared between them. I had stopped taking pictures because the sun was completely gone, and they eventually looked at me and said “Oh, we didn’t even realize you were done. We were in the moment.” I told them “That’s the point.”
They trusted me wholeheartedly, which is any photographers dream. We laughed, cried, laughed some more, and then had margaritas to top the night off. As we bonded even more over tacos, some AMAZING nachos, and margaritas at Taco Boy, I realized that I would then be counting down the days until their wedding. Their wedding came and it didn’t disappoint. I can’t wait to share their wedding with you and tell you all over again how wonderful they are.
To Nick and Sassha: I love you. You’re my favorite (don’t tell anyone). And I better be one of the first people you call when you’re pregnant, because I want to know when the world will be filled with more people like you. Best wishes to the most awesome people around.
Dogs and Brides are two of my favorite things. So, therefore, this shoot is one of my favorite things.
On this day in particular, it had JUST rained. So, the sky had a beautiful post-storm hue, and the bride sported some awesome furry boots under that gorgeous dress. It was quite the classy sight 😉 Lee is one my fiancé’s cousins, so we utilized the family land for this shoot. Thank God for pond reflections, old red gates, and fields of flowers. The natural beauty of the family land just blows my mind overtime I shoot on it. Add a bride in the mix, and it gains a hundred beauty points. Enjoy!
