Monthly Archives: August 2017
I still remember the first time I met Bree and Chris. We bonded over beer, greasy appetizers, and good conversation. They were both supposed to be each others “rebound” relationship and it wasn’t supposed to last, but it did. And Thank God for that.
They were my first wedding of 2017 and damn it, it was everything. The first thing I photographed upon arrival was them taking shots, so we were already off to a good start. Bree is an interior designer so I knew that I would be walking into a photographers dream land. They got married in her parents backyard which was basically a secret garden. I think my jaw dropped to the floor the moment I saw it. Not only was the landscaping just to-die-for, they had decorated it with gorgeous bohemian accents that looked like it came straight out of a Free People or Anthropologie catalogue. It was a whimsical wonderland and I.was.in.love.
Every portion of their day was so heartfelt, thoughtful, and unique to them as a couple. It was seriously so refreshing to see a couple create a wedding that was 100% them, and 0% what the internet told them to do. To Bree and Chris, thank you for having me document your magical day!

Molly and Lance are legitimately the biggest goofballs in all the land. Their wedding photos are proof of that.
They tied the knot last October, and yes, I’m just now blogging it. I suck, I know.
Molly is one of those people that is not only hilarious, but also genuine and so kind. When I delivered her USB package, she surprised me with pajamas that matched the ones her and her entourage wore on her wedding day. I was so incredibly flattered and teared up a little. Lance is just like Molly is so many ways – he’s hilarious, kind, and genuine, but he also gets Molly. Being a quirky bird myself, it’s hard to find someone who totally gets us, and Molly found that with Lance.
Although their wedding day was ten months ago, I still remember it like it was yesterday. Molly spilled red wine all over her dress and insisted that we take a photo together on my phone. Lance wiped away tears from Molly’s face and lipstick from his. They both made hilarious derpy faces whenever the photos got too serious, and for that I’m forever thankful because that means they have photos that look like them.
Molly and Lance, keep being the best ear sniffers in all the land.
